Coughing Up a Smirk

A damp scowl tickles her throat

Sly and slippery as ice

A sour taste in her mouth

Vengeance and venom slide

down like an infants snot

A smug and deranged gleam

The smirk ricochets off

the bullets from her forehead

A bark and a buzz splatter

Retribution and vindication hobble

Coughing up a sugar coated lie

stains and glares

Tooth and nails scratch at the core

Never under estimate her wrath
