She let out a crying whisper

She was terrified of the light

Waiting for him to answer

She ignored all the colors

She fell into the corner

Waiting for him to answer

She slept with the stranger

She hid from anyone close

Waiting for him to answer

She stared into alienation

She walked away from the signs

Waiting for him to answer

She ran from the shackles

She stood in the crossroads

Waiting for him to answer

She sat in the white sand

She twisted in her journey

Waiting for him to answer

She hobbled around midnight

She anticipated change of direction

  1. Wow 😢 just beyond on point with spirituality. And ones journey with spirituality. I mean just wow 😢, it feels like the words poured onto the pages. It was a many pages turns ago, of my story I’ve left behind. Great poem!
